For my dedication book I wanted to do something a bit unusual. I chose to make a book for ants. As I was researching them I discovered that they have very poor eye sight and can only see things that are directly in front of them. In trying to figure out how an ant would read a book, I decided that an ant would be way more interested in tunneling through the book than reading it.

The book is made of a transparent vellum paper to signify their poor eye sight and to allow you to see into the flip book slightly. Each page has a few holes that act as tunnels though the book to mimic an anthill. The last page also has a description of why ants make anthills and why they’re important.
